With more than 25 years of experience in real estate, including over 20 years specialising in strata management, Karen brings extensive industry knowledge and expertise to her role as Licensee in Charge of W.T. Newey & Co Strata.

As both Licensee in Charge and Senior Strata Manager, Karen combines strategic leadership with hands-on experience. She oversees the strata management department, providing leadership and guidance to the team while ensuring operational efficiency and consistently high standards of service.

In her role as Senior Strata Manager, Karen manages a portfolio of strata schemes, preparing comprehensive budgets and agendas, convening and facilitating meetings, drafting detailed minutes, overseeing repairs and maintenance, and following up on all management matters.

Karen works closely with her management team, lot owners, strata committees, tradespeople and legal representatives to ensure each strata scheme is managed professionally, efficiently and with meticulous attention to detail.

In her recently added role in Business Development, Karen focuses on bringing new strata schemes and buildings into W.T. Newey & Co Strata. Drawing on her extensive industry experience and in-depth understanding of strata management, she builds strong relationships with prospective clients, strata committees, developers and building owners, identifying opportunities to provide tailored strata management solutions. Karen is responsible for developing new business opportunities, presenting the company’s services and expertise, and guiding prospective clients through the transition to W.T. Newey & Co Strata. Her hands-on experience as a Senior Strata Manager gives her a unique ability to understand the needs and challenges of each building and demonstrate the value of appointing an experienced and dedicated strata management team.
